Luxury Launches - A London institution, the Wellesley Hotel is celebrating a Great British leader, Sir Winston Churchill, with a great British tradition: afternoon tea! The limited edition Churchill Afternoon Tea will include special items like hand crafted tiramisu bowler hats, chocolate cigars, and a bespoke tea blend, that pay tribute to the late British Prime Minister.
The menu features a selection of the teatime staples: finger sandwiches as, well as filo pastry cannoli cigars with dark chocolate mousse, a rich cheesecake tartelette and mandarin dome, bowler-hat shaped tiramisu cups, and rum and coffee lollypops. Meanwhile the custom tea blend has been enriched with almonds and pieces of Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar for a one-of-a-kind experience.
