Batman Wears Gucci
When you’re a billionaire who stays up in the wee hours to bring definitive justice to a crime-crazed city, you’ve got to look at the top of your game the next day. This couldn’t come without sufficient make-up and of course, a wardrobe that does half the world for you.
That is why “Batman v Supersman: Dawn of Justice” costume designer, Michael Wilkinson collaborated with the Florentine fashion house to create the clothes and accessories worn by the Gotham City billionaire, played by Ben Affleck.
The wardrobe includes suits, shirts, coats, leather jackets, silk accessories, footwear, belts, and sunglasses, as well as cuff links and collar and tie bars personalized with Wayne’s initials. This isn’t the first time Gucci has teamed with Wilkinson. The fashion house and the costume designer previously worked together on “American Hustle.”
